Seyhan Özdemir and Sefer Çaglar of Autoban are design legends in their home town of Istanbul, but also rate as one of the coolest agencies in the world, with a stunning portfolio that incorporates architecture, interiors, furniture and branding.
Covering every sector, from fashion and restaurants to hotels and airports, their work can be seen stamped across the trendiest parts of Istanbul, from their longstanding relationship with luxury brand Vakko, through to all the House brand outlets; The House Cafe and the stunning House Hotel chain.
Further afield they have created one of the most striking airport interiors with their sublime and surreal cocoon pods for Heydar Aliyev Airport at Baku, Azerbaijan and their designs for The Emperor Hotel in Hong Kong, which mixes urban contemporary with luxury to create a distinctive look and feel.
Their work can also be seen in London, with glorious interior and exterior design for Alan Yau’s super cool ‘Turkish Pizza’ concept – Babaji Pide, as well as the even more recent reinvention of a Berwick Street boozer into Duck & Rice; a craft ale Izakaya concept, again from Alan Yau
