Rigney Forge

Rigney Forge is an Irish retail design consultancy, working in Ireland, the UK and Europe. They specialise in the retail and hospitality sectors and have a particular talent for using graphics to transform and elevate the retail experience.

Established by Peter Rigney in 2020, with a small flexible team of designers, the agency really excels with retail environment design that communicates sustainabilty and community.

The store design concept for Kavanagh’s in Belsize Park London, is a premium 865sq/m supermarket with an enhanced food solution experience for the community, focusing on local, quality and sustainability. The design solution involves distinct in-store destinations like a food-to-go island, a bakery, fishmonger, and delicatessen for a vibrant shopping atmosphere. Sustainability was a central principle in the store design, with particular focus on quality materials and collaborate with suppliers to enhance lighting and HVAC systems’ sustainability.

Rigney Forge’s store design concept for Tirlán CountryLife & FarmLife has transformed their farm stores & garden centres, bringing the new brand to life in their retail environments. The design creates is fresh and modern while also remaining funtional and respecting the long history these stores have within their communities. The new concept created for Bunclody was transferable to a network of 53 stores nationwide. Therefore, designing the store with this in mind was critical to the project’s success.

The agency has worked on an ongoing basis with Jump Juice, designing their bars for a number of locations across Ireland. With sites ranging from stores to kiosks, the concepts are constantly evolving while maintaining the fun and playful energy of the brand to draw customers attention.

With projects in Ireland and abroad their goal is to work with their clients to maximise the potential of their brands and retail spaces, engaging customers to build loyalty and deliver concepts that are thoughtful and exciting.
