The amazing, over the top Level Shoe District is classic Dubai retailing; based on the belief that big is best.

Level Shoe District is perfect proof of the trend we call the ‘Push for Posh’. The space is designed by Shed

This vast 96,000 sq ft space is a mall within a mall department store that sits inside the Dubai Mall. It’s an entire district dedicated to luxury shoes.

A concept from the Chalhoub Group, founded in 1955 by Syrian entrepreneur Michel Chalhoub, which runs 350 retail outlets across the Middle East, Level was conceived as the ultimate one shop experience, featuring 40 boutiques from brands such as Prada, Louis Vuitton and Le Coq Sportif, as well as 4 multi brand pavilions, each with their own curated ranges.

Each Pavilion has its own unique design theme and palette of colours and textures.

There’s Women’s Designer, Contemporary and Trend (seen on the previous page), as well as a separate Men’s department.

Design is by London and Singapore agency Shed, who brought on board specialists such as Giles Miller Studios, Patternity and United Visual Artists.

A perimeter arcade of luxury boutiques whose storefronts are united with a skin of metallic fins. This helps create the visual unity needed to create an overall identity. In order to create a total destination, there are a host of other services; from Concierge and Sole Lounge (offering mani and pedicures), a Cobbler and a Vogue Cafe.
