Having started as a family-owned textile business in the 70s, Avoca is now a world-class lifestyle brand with plans for UK and US expansion.

The brand is now 12 stores strong, with Avoca Dunboyne the latest and most impressive outing under its umbrella. Sprawling across 35,000 sq ft of former nursery space, the store includes a garden centre; fashion, books and homewares departments; and a cafe.

Avoca Dunboyne is a world class, all-in-one lifestyle destination combining food, fashion and homewares.

Avoca’s playful attitude is on display throughout, unifying the flagship store via quirky signage, bright colours and eclectic product selections. Vintage tractors painted fluorescent pink and orange welcome visitors, who continue on into a greenhouse-style area abloom with florals and garden products.

The signature throws, blankets and textiles synonymous with Avoca feature amid the clothing, ceramics, perfumes and candles produced through its newer Anthology and Nest brands. A food hall features artisan jams, chutneys, coffee, cheese and charcuterie items sourced locally and abroad. Local produce, freshly baked bread and an in-house butcher and fishmonger round out the offerings.

Seating 200 people, the Farm to Fork cafe is a self-service restaurant incorporating ingredients grown in Avoca’s own kitchen garden. Visitors dine in a greenhouse or patio space lush with herbs and ivy, and can order pizza from a vintage van in the courtyard.

It’s a setting where quality and familiarity come together for a fun, friendly ambience that taps into the local community and the brand’s family-owned roots.
