London-based accessories brand Bottletop has launched its flagship store on Regent Street. Dubbed the ‘world’s first zero-waste’ store, the flagship delivers a futuristic twist on eco luxury.
The store has been 3D-printed from Reflow recycled plastic, and also features a highly textured overhead canopy fashioned from thousands of can tops in a 3D-printed lattice structure. Overhead lighting and digital wall projections create an ever-shifting, immersive experience.
London-based studio Krause Architects has created a world-first zero-waste retail space in keeping with the Bottletop ethos.
Up-cycled tyres make up the flooring, while display hooks are printed into the walls. The experience is extended with a signature scent from Timothy Han and playlists from producer Mario C, who also produced the Bottletop Band album.
The space forms an on-brand backdrop for the company’s collection of hand-crafted products fashioned from recycled metals and zero-deforestation leather. Sales support the Bottletop Foundation, which is involved in health education projects around the world.
Combining forward-looking eco activism and traditional artisanship, the store spotlights the brand’s unique approach to conscious fashion. This ethos is further communicated through events, collaborations and talks as seen in Bottletop’s earlier pop-up stores.
Innovatively sustainable, Bottletop is a first-of-its-kind blend of the hand-made and the high-tech.
