Founded by Ronnie Fieg in 2011, high end New York streetwear brand Kith has opened its first European store in Paris. The new store is located in the city’s golden triangle, alongside numerous luxury brand stores.
At 16,000ft², this is their largest store to date. Alongside their upmarket clothing offer they have included hospitality in the form of their own cereal and ice-cream bar ‘Treats’ as well as a Parisienne outopost for NY’s Sadelle’s restaurant. The store also stocks a selection of books and home accessories, which together with the F&B offering provides customers with a more holistic lifestyle experience of the brand.
For the design of their sixth flagship, Kith has continued its long-term collaboration with NY based design firm Snarkitecture. Their design is inspired by the history and existing 19th century architecture and keeps many of the original features, while also adding sympathetic details and contemporary ‘Kith’ twists. They also hired French landscape designers Jardins de Babylone, to reimagine the living wall, which was originally created twenty years ago by renowned botanist Patrick Blanc.
The retailer’s collections are presented across a series of beautifully design rooms which are set around a central courtyard. It’s a space where customers can admire and enjoy the simple elegance of the interior alongside the purity of the visual merchandising, which work beautifully together.
